Our Mission

Hi, my name is Joseph Nabet and I am a resident of Nassau County, New York. The Las Vegas Sands Corporation wishes to build an integrated resort and possible casino on the site of the Nassau Coliseum. Although there is great support, there is also great and vocal opposition to their current proposal. The Sands said they were looking for input from the community in regards to their planning and development of their proposal, and as a member of the local community, I made a proposal and sent it to them. I appeared in front of the Nassau County Legislature on May 22nd, 2023 with my proposal. It was the only proposal that both sides became enthusiastic about. My proposal includes everything the Sands wants in their plans, but it is modified to include as the centerpiece, a state-of-the-art retractable/fixed roof football stadium to be the home of the New York Jets, and possibly the New York Cosmos soccer team. The purpose of this proposal is meant to not only give the Sands what they want, but to have a plan that both sides of the aisle can agree upon. It also acts as a possible backup plan in case the state doesn’t award the Las Vegas Sands a gaming license.

Say YES to the JETS! proposal

  1. A world class, state-of-the-art, retractable/fixed roof football stadium for the New York Jets and the New York Cosmos. Built with an underground greenhouse for the playing fields and a sportsbook.

  2. A Las Vegas Sands 4 and 5 star integrated resort hotel (and possible casino)

  3. A Nassau Veterans Memorial Park and Botanical Garden.

  4. 2 Tailgate Tower Parking Garages built and designed for tailgating.

  5. A Tailgate Village on the west side of the proposed stadium.

  6. A Pedestrian Bridge connecting both sides of Hempstead Turnpike.

  7. A new LIRR Station on Endo Boulevard using a refurbished and upgraded Garden City-Mitchel Field Secondary line.

  8. A relocation of the New York Jets Headquarters and Practice Facility from Florham Park, NJ to Farmingdale, NY.
